Characteristics of STEAM Education

In a world dominated by science and technology, STEAM education is an important factor of competitiveness of a country. Our goal is to create a STEAM featured curriculum center that integrates humanities & technology, innovation & leadership, sinology & internationalism, aesthetics & arts (international high school).


While introducing the "Orange County STEAM Featured Curriculum System", 

SZU-OCAHS  has also brought in the most advanced high school education curriculum system, teaching philosophy, and methods to Beijing and across China, so that the students can experience and receive the most advanced education idea and teaching methodology without going abroad.


In the STEAM curriculum department, we attach great importance to education. Science, technology, engineering and mathematics are the frontiers of the future, which can help the students to become strong-willed adults and good citizens. We also adopt different methods to help our students to become proficient in artistic design, and then apply the traditional concepts from the STEM curriculum, to create a more beautiful and sustainable world.


In a STEAM project, the students will collaborate to solve the problems. In these courses, a question about driving will be raised firstly, from which the students find they can also ask smaller questions to get answers that would be with them the whole life.
